Obligatory Mayan Apocalypse Post

With the supposed end of the world being today, you’d think I’d have something to say. Fact is, living in the Mountain time zone and waking up as late as I did, there was already a several hour backlog of “suck it, doomsday” and “make a better calendar, Mayans” smart-ass one-liners, so my pithy comments didn’t seem strictly necessary.

Besides, we all know this is how it’s really going down.

There was a new review of Exponential Apocalypse: Dead Presidents recently, though, so I’m not entirely without timely information for you:

“All in all with the clones, dinosaurs, Gods of Thunder, and radioactive mutants the story is pretty entertaining from start to finish. The writing was easily understood with quite a few ingenious ideas for this type of genre that could probably support their own book length story all by themselves.”

You can find the full review over at The Indie Book Blog Database.

Other than that, it’s mostly just been preparing for the onslaught of social obligations that is Christmas. You know, rushing through ransacked stores, piling boxes in the corners of the apartment, trekking through the cold to be with family and friends you haven’t seen in a long time… Hmm… If only there was a way to combine Christmas with the end of the world, and maybe make use of some public domain “duck and cover” films from the ’50s too…

Thanks, Weird Al.
