As of this writing, only 56 hours remain to back the Kickstarter for Atomic Carnival Books. We’re a little more than $300 away from unlocking a brand-new novella from yours truly, an angry slacker rewrite of Frankenstein.
And … that’s it. That is all. Just a reminder to back the campaign if you can. I’ll probably do a post-mortem later, digging into the challenges of crowdfunding – the highs and catastrophic lows of pledges being changed; of taming a campaign that is a living, breathing, ever-evolving thing; fighting against increasingly hostile social-media algorithms; fighting against the mercurial nature of life itself – but, right now, I am, as the kids are saying, out of spoons.
